We have a date! Combining with our regularly scheduled Family Faith Nights, Trunk or Treat will be hosted at Grace. Find the event on Facebook (coming soon) or download the pdf flyer to share in your workplace. ALL from the community are welcome! So as to serve our neighbor in conjunction with this event, we are recommending that families bring a food item to share with the Muscatine Food Pantry.

Interested in hosting a trunk? We need you! Sign up here

If you have any questions, contact Leslie Eichelberger (SOTC), Denise Baird (Zion), or Traci Lippelgoes (Grace). Looking forward to a great night with our church communities and the greater community of Muscatine!

All Saints Day Names for Litany in Worship

Submit by October 30

Each year, the church observes All Saints Day – a day to remember saints who have joined the body of Christ through baptism and saints who have gone before us who now rest in peace. If you have someone you know who has been baptized or who has died in the past year that you’d like remembered during our All Saints Litany in worship, sign up in the narthex or contact Kathy Dunham. That person’s name will be remembered in worship, and those remembering that individual will be invited to come forward and light a candle.

Become a Dementia Friend

Wednesday, October 12 @ 6:00 pm @ First Presbyterian

Increasingly, many people either are in contact with people who cope with dementia, or care for someone with memory loss. If you, or others, are interested in learning how to support someone living with dementia, consider becoming a “dementia friend” by attending a 1-hour informational session at First Presbyterian. Led by Dr. Elaine Eshbaugh of UNI, this session will teach participants the basics of what dementia is, how it can affect a person, tips for communicating, and other ways to support people with dementia. For more information, contact First Presbyterian at 563-263-2696.
