Worship: Listening to Receive

Luke 15:1-3a, 11b-32; Psalm 145:8-16; Ephesians 1:3-14 |Imagine a luscious plate of food put in front of you. Now, if you’re hungry, that plate of food likely looks incredibly appealing. But, if you’re full, no matter how delicious that food is, you might pass it up. Our hunger drives our response. So then, when it comes to what God offers us – most of all, God’s grace – what is our response? And, what is our hunger level? As we begin our first week in our stewardship theme, join us as we listen for God’s invitation to us: inviting us to receive and experience God’s abundance as people chosen through Christ.
