Luke 3:1-18 | As we anticipate the birth of our Lord, Emmanuel, we trust God’s promise that God will make a way to come to us—no matter the cost. But though our God is determined to draw close to home with us, all too often, we create our own roadblocks inhibiting ourselves from fully participating in God’s good gifts, and we create roadblocks inhibiting others from fully participating in God’s promised kingdom. As we prepare for Christmas, take time to “prepare the way” along with us by making a way for Christ to come to you, and making a way for all God’s children to be welcomed home.
