Genesis 50:15-21; Matthew 18:21-35 | Forgiveness. Why is it sometimes so challenging to embrace? Having received mercy and compassion from God, one would think that it would be easy as pie to extend that same forgiveness to others. And yet, often it’s all too easy to hang onto the past rather than allowing ourselves to be freed to live into a renewed future and renewed relationship. As we continue with our “Marks of Discipleship” series, join us for worship as once again we receive God’s compassion, and as we are given the invitation to offer forgiveness to one another as an act of freedom.
