Revelation 21:1-6a; Isaiah 25:6-9; John 11:32-44 | Throughout Scripture, we are given visions of the fullness of God’s Kingdom where death is no more, where mourning and crying and pain have been swallowed up, and where all things are made new. This is the hope we cling to as people who proclaim Christ as our resurrection and our life. And yet, still, though we live in part in God’s Kingdom made manifest among us, we anticipate the fulfillment of Christ’s Kingdom. So as we wait, and as we remember before God the saints who have gone before us and the saints who’ve joined our number through the sacrament of baptism, join us for worship as we look in hope for all that God is about to do, and as we join hands with God in God’s redeeming work in the world, today.
